In 2002, Paul C. King founded King Executive Search, Inc. to provide quality retained executive search services to clients who sought an advisor whose counsel could be trusted and with whom open lines of communication were always candid and sincere. Mr. King envisioned an executive search practice well-aligned with the needs of its local community and yet extending is research-based art form with an international reach.
Prior to establishing King Executive Search, Mr. King was a Client Partner with Korn/Ferry International where he completed numerous searches within the global energy industry. Specific energy sectors where Mr. King has built successful relationships include Power and Gas Utilities (both regulated and non-regulated), Merchant Energy, Oilfield Services, Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Engineering & Construction and Consulting. Sectors outside of the energy industry where Mr. King has also developed strong track record include Advanced Technology, Enterprise Software and IT Services, Hospitality, Not-For-Profit and Real Estate. Leading the firm in dedicating time and energy to community development, Mr. King has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce and participated with the Executive Committee, The Commodores Club, Eastbluff Foundation and E.E. Committee at Mingei International Museum. He remains actively involved in the Alumni Associations of the University of Southern California and Sigma Chi Fraternity.
